Dr. Paul Janelle

Dr. Paul Janelle graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College following his degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University. He has developed interests in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and pathologies of the shoulder. Dr. Janelle emphasizes the importance of properly diagnosing a condition before treatment and understands that every patient is unique and must be treated accordingly. Paul uses a variety of therapeutic techniques. These techniques include Chiropractic manipulation of the spine and extremities, Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) and other soft tissue modalities such as muscle stripping and trigger point therapy, and therapeutic modalities such as low intensity laser therapy, ultrasound, and interferential current (IFC). Dr. Janelle stresses the importance of regular exercise and proper nutrition as a fit and healthy body recovers more efficiently and is less prone to injury.
Outside of the clinic, Paul exercises regularly and works with several youth sport camps. He played for the varsity lacrosse team at McMaster University and continues to compete at a high level. Paul also works as a personal trainer, kettle bell instructor, and rehabilitation consultant in Toronto.
