Changes to Cycling Schedule as of Jan 1, 2013

Saturday multi-rider classes will now be 6:00am-9:00am, 9:00am-12:00pm, and 12:00-3:00pm

Sunday multi-rider classes will now be 8:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-4:00pm.

All others remain the same.  For more information and a look at our full schedule, look under the "classes" tab!

Cycling Program for Kids and Teens - Starts October 17th 2012

A great opportunity to involve your kids in a healthy and fun activity over the winter!! AETT is offering a 9 week indoor cycling program for ages 10-17, including a 1 hour cycling class lead by a motivating and knowledgeable instructor combined with education on cycling skills and pedalling technique.

When: Wednesday's 4:45-5:45 pm
October 17th - December 12, 2012
Where: At Absolute Endurance Training and Therapy
Cost: $300.00 + HST
*Minimum 8 athletes required for program to run*
Sign up deadline: October 2, 2012

*Athletes must have their own bike - must be a road bike, triathlon bike, or other with slick back tire*

Muskoka Training Camp

Join Absolute Endurance Training and Therapy on our annual Muskoka Training Camp on August 10-12th, 2012.

This training weekend is perfect for any athletes training for Half and Full Ironman events in the late summer and fall, including Ironman Tremblant, Ironman Louisville and Ironman Canada. 

Rides will take place on the Muskoka 70.3 course.

Summer Computrainer Classes

Beginning June 19, 2012 we will be on our summer cycling class schedule, which looks like this:

TUESDAY: 6am-7:30am, 6pm-7:30pm

WEDNESDAY: 6am-7:30am

THURSDAY: 6am-7:30am, 12pm-1:15pm, 6pm-7:30pm

FRIDAY: 6am-7:30am

Weekend multirider classes will take place when weather does not cooperate for outdoor rides.

As usual, our clients are welcome to come in and ride at their convenience outside of these scheduled class times during any of our open hours.

Open Water Swim Group

All Absolute Endurance members are welcome to join us at Cherry Beach on Friday mornings at 6am for an open water swim.  This is a casual event to give our athletes the opportunity to practice their open water swimming with the safety of others in the water, there is no formal instruction.  Email cindy@absoluteendurance.com if you are interested in joining us!

Lake Placid 2012 Camp

This training weekend will include swim, bike and run training, focused on Half-Iron and Iron Distance triathlon and will improve the fitness and confidence of any athlete. We offer a friendly and fun training atmosphere and welcome athletes of all levels and abilities!

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • 2 1⁄2 days of structured group workouts and support the Lake Placid Ironman course
  • BBQ dinner on Saturday night
  • Discussions on Endurance nutrition, race day and course strategies, run and bike techniques 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday June 8, 2012
12pm – Registration, meet and greet, expectations
1pm – Ride to Keene and back (60k)
4pm – Swim at Mirror Lake (1 loop-1.9k)
5:30pm – Yoga
7pm – Dinner
8pm – Discussion on running and cycling technique

Saturday June 9, 2012
7:00am: Open water swim technique discussion with an Open water swim to follow (1 or 2 loops – 1.9 or 3.8k)
9 am - bike 90km/180k – ride Lake Placid Ironman course Run 30-60 minutes off the bike (optional)
5pm: yoga
7pm – BBQ at Wildwoods Hotel
8pm: Discussion – Race Day and Training Nutrition and Mental Strategies

Sunday June 8, 2012
8:00am: Open Water swim (1-2 loops)
10am: run workout (up to one loop of run course 21.1k)
1pm: lunch and leave for home!

ACCOMODATIONS

  • Accommodations are not included, but workouts will start and
  • finish at the Wildwood Hotel in Lake Placid.
  • We have a few rooms reserved at a discounted rate but reserve early, as space is limited 

COST

  • AETT Coached Athletes $275 + HST
  • Non-AETT Athletes $325 + HST
